KHAIR WADE 8821759

Thu Apr 14 10:30:02 CEST 2011 Timsen

The Gibraltar Port Authority deployed anti-pollution vessels and equipment to contain an oil spill in Gibraltar waters on Apr 12, 2011. Around 200 litres of heavy fuel oil were spilt during a bunkering operation between the "Aegean Princess", 4609 gt (IMO: 8821759) and the Comores-flagged reefer "Heidi Plus" (IMO: 7913153). Most of the oil was contained between the two ships and port vessels, together with local specialist Brightside, moved to collect the rest and apply dispersants.
