Details:

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Contract: permanent

Weekly working hours: 40 hours

To do:

- Design, development and maintenance of webbased applications for the Shipping Industry
Required skills:

- Good English level (Spoken and written). 
- Good programming skills  (Java or/and Ruby or Phython)
- Passion for software development and great interest in new technologies, especially in the mobile phone and shipping  industries 
- Be a team player who can step outside of her/his role to help others

Would be a big plus:

- Proven previous experience in development of software products (Commercial, personal or open source) 
- Good knowledge of at least one of scripting language, specially Python 
- Web Server development: Java, Ruby on Rails, Ruby,  Javascript 
- Some protocol related knowledge (TCP/IP, USB, WLAN)

Study:

- Engineering or Computer Science
