Mechanical failure in Aegean Sea

On March 2, 2019, the "Amur 2507" suffered engine damage at Cape Kafireas in the Steno Kafirea area and interrupted her voyage. She moored at Karistos Bay anchorage for repairs. When notified, the Port Authority of Rafina and Karystos banned the vessel from leaving the anchorage, until a certificate of seaworthiness was issued. The vessel sailed from Karystos on March 5.

Grounding on the Don

The "Amur 2507", loaded with wheat, ran aground on Aug 8, 2018, at 4.30 a.m. on the Don river in the Shmat area near Azov, while sailing downstream en route from Rostov-on-Don to Samsun. On Aug 8 at 08.15 a.m. the tugs "Shlyuzovoy-90" and "Portovyy-22" were sent to refloat the "Amur 2507". Later that evening, the vessel was successfully pulled off and inspected. There was no reported damage to the ship, and its seaworthiness was not affected. It independently proceeded to the Azov anchorage, where it anchored in pos. 47° 8.70' N 039° 30.47' Eto await first light on Aug 9, before getting underway again en route to its destination.

Bottom kiss

On Aug 2, 2011, at 11.25 p.m. LT the "Amur 2507" enroute from Perguba (Onega Lake) to Baidaratskiy Bay (Karskoe Sea) with a cargo of gravel touched the bottom at 1288.7 kilometer mark, near buoy 206, entering Lock 12 of the White Sea – Baltic Sea Canal. The vessel had contact near Hold 2 area, but no visible damages or leaks were reported. There was a pilot on board. The essel anchored after passing the lock for surveys. odin.tc
