On July 27 the wreck of the "Fluvius Tamar" was towed on the river Oude Maas underway to the scrapyard at s-Gravendeel in Rotterdam. The wreck was under tow of the "MTS Vigilant" and "Buizerd" as steering tug. Wreck towed to Rotterdam

The "Fluvius Tamar" which sank on Jan 13 about 35 miles NE of Ramsgate in the Northsea, being enroute from Eemshaven to Spain with 3800 ton magnesium oxyde, was raised by Ardent Salvage in the evening of July 26 in pos. 51º 40.200’N. 002º 13.580’E. Ardent was assisted by Koole Mammoet Salvage. The wreck was towed to the Scheepssloperij Nederland in 's-Gravendeel in Rotterdam to be broken up.
