Repairs of grounding damage completed
The "Frio Petropavlovsk" left the port of Ijmuiden after repairs were completed on Dec 3 at 11.30 p.m. bound for Las Palmas as next port of call, ETA Dec 9.
Reeder jammed onto jetty
On Nov 19, 2016, around 8 p.m. the "Frio Petropavlovsk", having sailed from Murmansk on Nov 12, suffered an engine failure heading to the Velsen Terminal to unload while approaching the North-Velsen locks and jammed on the South Pier at IJmuiden. The ship could be pulled off again by two tugs half an hour later. The ship was moored on the south side in the Klosterboer fishing harbor to investigate the damage.
