BMS Towing BV tug Andrė B sold to Norway

It is reported that the BMS Towing BV tug Andrė B (Imo 9451252) has been sold to Norway. The Dutch registered tug with call sign PHON is sold to TRONDS Marine Service Høylandsbygd, Norway on the 10 th July at 10.10 Hours. Broker is this deal was BV Intershitra S&P. Tronds has renamed the tug Tronds Lax. The Andrė B was built in 2008 by Scheepswerf De Nijs v/h Firma P. Hoebee.

In trouble in Biscay

Dutch tug Andre B and barge Excalibur on tug’s tow experienced difficulties in archipelago Glenan area, 25 nautical miles west of Lorient, when they meet rough seas on Mar 21 13. Barge has eight legs which were lowered, later situation was said to be stable with no risk to barge 7 crew and 4 crew on the tug. As of morning Mar 22 Andre B was standing by, presumably, near barge, waiting for weather to improve.
