Ferry crew saved man from the water
Crew members aboard the 'Empire State' plucked a man from the waters of the Hudson River as it was en route to Hoboken Terminal in the morning of Aug 28, 2020. Capitan David Dort was operating the ferry when he saw the man in the river near Pier 25 in New York after departing from the World Financial Center/Brookfield Place ferry terminal for Hoboken Terminal. The deckhands were deployed as the ferry moved up and they got him out. The man was turned over to New York police.
