Vehicles carrier adrift in storm
On Jan 18, 2018, the "Hoegh Beijing" broke lose and went adrift in the Vrasene dock in Antwerp with four tugs attached at 07.45 a.m. By 1.50 p.m. tje vessel was moored at Berth 1237 with two tugs still standing by. The vehicles carrier had arrived at Antwerp at 01.30 a.m. from Halifax.
