Freighter suffered fuel hose trouble

The "Jork", en route from Dublin to Rotterdam with a crew of 12 on board, went adrift due to problems with its fuel hoses, which required one hour to change, in position 50 10 25 N, 002 41 41 W,on June 23, 2019, at 06.30 a.m. The crew subsequently effected repairs, and the ship continued its voyage. It berthed at the Euromax Terminal in Rotterdam on June 24 at 5.40 a.m.

COSCO to Make First Ever Liverpool Call

A COSCO containership will call at the Port of Liverpool for the first time on 17 October, something which the port has claimed is a sign of its growing relationship with China. The Chinese state-owned liner’s MV Jork vessel will call at Liverpool after a stop in Rotterdam, and, in doing so, strengthen the port’s relationship with the fastest growing economy on Earth.
