Holland America Line’s Koningsdam has returned to the Port of Huelva in southern Spain a year after her first visit. The city council and tourist board welcomed visitors to the port with the Litore Lux animation group and a ‘venenciadora’ (a traditional sherry pourer). The vessel docked at 7am on 24 September and more than 2,600 passengers from a variety of nationalities had the opportunity to take a shuttle service to the centre of Huelva. Excursions on offer included trips to Doñana National Park, Minas de Riotinto and Seville, and a wine tour of Bodegas del Condado. At 7pm, the vessel set sail for Gibraltar.
