10 missing after collision

The "Shun Qiang 2" collided with the Chinese "Yong An Lun" close to Shanghai in the night of July 15, 2018, and sank. Three crew members were rescued, 10 more missing. The "Shun Qiang 2" was enroute from Nanjing to Guangzhou when the accident occurred. The ship's load consisted of 3,000 tonnes of steel rods. Chinese rescue ships and aircraft continued to search for the missing in the area.
