Exchange crew members tested positive for coronavirus
The crew that would have boarded the 'Berge Bandai' as a replacement in San Antonio, had to be transferred to a health residence in the Viña del Mar commune, after a positive case of Covid-19 was confirmed among one of its crew members. a Philippine merchant seaman who entered the country a few days ago through the Arturo Merino Benítez airport in the Pudahuel commune. The Regional Ministerial Secretariat (Seremi) of Health of the Valparaíso Region did not specify how many crew members were detected as close contact with this person, nor was it revealed how long they must remain in the health residence. None of the people who had contact with the positive crew member had symptoms.
