Quarantined crew waiting for test results in Burela

The 16 crew members of the 'Carla' held in quarantine in Burela for two weeks were confident that they can set sail on april 28, should the coronavirus tests carried out on April 27 prove negative. The ship docked in Burela after being ordered by its owner to return from the fishing grounds, when it was confirmed that one of the crew had been infected by covid-19 in an analysis carried out a few days earlier in Avilés. Neither he nor any of his companions showed symptoms. Shortly after arriving in Burela, the first PCR tests were carried out on board. All of the 16 crew members were tested negative. Although their intention was to be able to fish again, they had to remain in quarantine for two weeks, until they were tested again. No diagnosis of COVID-19 has yet been confirmed. While waiting for the test results, the man with signs of suffering remained inside the ship, without any symptoms. The Civil Guard has mounted a police cordon in the area of ​​the dock in Burel where the 'Carla' has been tied up. No one can get on or off the vessel.
