The Coast Guard medevaced a man reportedly suffering from a stroke aboard the Linda Dream, a 948-foot cargo vessel. The ship's agent contacted Coast Guard Sector Baltimore watchstanders at 8:27 a.m. reporting that the crewmember was suffering from a stroke and needed medical attention. Sector Baltimore watchstanders dispatched a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Annapolis, Md., with three Anne Arundel County EMS personnel aboard along with an Anne Arundel County Fire Department boatcrew to the scene. The crewmember was transferred to the Coast Guard boat and transported to Station Annapolis where he was met by EMS and taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
