Robbers stole ship's properties
The Richmond' was boarded by robbers at the Takoradi anchorage, Ghana on Feb 8, 2020. The robbers pulled back razor wire on the starboard side of the forecastle, boarded the vessel and broke into the storeroom. They stole ship's property and escaped unnoticed.
Medevac off Corpus Christi
A USCG helicopter medevaced the master of the "Weser" on Aug 6, 2014. The vessel was 50 miles off Corpus Christi in the Gulf of Mexico when it reported severe pain in the master’s leg, possible a blood clout, and asked for assistance. A helicopter reached the tanker around 08.45 a.m. LT and airlifted the 50-year old man. He was transferred to a hospital. The tanker arrived at Corpus Christi anchorage at 9-15 p.m. The ship was en route from Venezuela.
