Oil leakage in Sri Racha
An oil leak occurred in the night of Nov 2, 2017, during loading operation of the "ACS 38" (IMO: 8981482) at the Ko Sichang Oil Terminal, Sri Racha, in the Gulf of Thailand. A hose or pipe burst, and 20 tons of heavy oil leaked into the water, covering some 10.000 square meters of water near Ko Sichang island. An anti-pollution operation was launched with the deployment of all relevant agencies. The accident wasn’t the tanker’s fault.
