Mechanical damage off Amorgos

On July 6, 2020, at noon the 'Andros Jet' suffered a mechanical damage while operating on it scheduled route near the port of Amorgos. The vessel was able to proceed safely to the port of Aegiali, Amorgos, where the 13 passengers were disembarked. Another 34 passengers were waiting to board the ship. They were forwarded to their destinations by another vessel. The Port Authority detained the vessel in port until the damage was repaired and a class maintenance certificate was issued. At 2.30 p.m. the ship was sailing again.

Allision in Fplegandros

On June 14, 2020, at 6.45 a.m. the 'Andros Jet' suffered a small damage at the ramp during the berthing manoever at the port of Folegandros island in position 36 36 48 N, 24 56 54 E. Initially the vessel was detained, but following the inspection of the attending certification society it was allowed to continue its voyage to Naxos where it arrived at 12.30 p.m.

Object fouled propulsion system

On March 31, 2020, at noon the Port Authority of Syros was informed by the captain of the 'Andros Jet' that during the scheduled voyage on the route Paros. - Naxos - Folegandros - Sikinos - Io - Thirassia - Thira - Anafi, an object got entangled in the propulsion system, so that the starboard side main engine failed. The Port Authority allowed to resume the scheduled route with six passengers on board after the item was removed.
