Engine failure off Alanya
The 'Antalya', en route from Marsa El Brega to Iskenderun, suffered an engine failure south of Alanya on June 28, 2021, in vicinity 36 06 00N, 31 28 12E. The crew was carrying out repairs, while the vessel was adrift.
Technical failure off Canakkale Strait
The 'Antalya', en route from Tripoli, Lebanon to Ambarli in ballast condition, suffered a technical failure south of the Canakkale Strait on Nov 10, 2019. The vessel dropped anchor in the southern entrance of the Strait, where repair works were carried out by the crew.
Technical failure in Hereke
The "Antalya" suffered a technical failure at Hereke on April 9, 2019. The vessel's departure permission was cancelled by the port master until the completion of further repairs. Repairs were started by crew. The ship left Hereke and headed to Tuzla, were it arrived on April 12 at 11.10 a.m.
