Tanker boarded by robbers in Ghana

Thu Apr 16 20:31:01 CEST 2020 Timsen

While the 'Brook' was moored on the Takoradi anchorage, Ghana, six robbers in a fishing vessel came alongside and attempted to board the tanker using a grappling hook via the forecastle on April 15, 2020, at 5.30 a.m. The duty crew member on watch noticed the robbers and informed the bridge. The tanker's whistle was sounded, and the robbers fled and escaped. Nothing was reported to be stolen and there were no damages to the tanker.
