Yacht skipper medevaced off Corfu
The Port Authority of Corfu was informed in the evening of May 8, 2023, that the 68-year-old skipper of the 'Blue Wranger' needed first aid 0,2 nautical miles off the Garitsa Bay near Corfu. Under the coordination of the JRCC, a patrol boat was deployed to the scene, where it located the yacht, picked up the patient and disembarked him safely in the port of Corfu. He was taken to the Corfu General Hospital by an ambulance.
