The "Chilandia", 3797 ts, was refloated on Feb 24 at 8.40 a.m. after hundreds of tons of cellulose bales were lightened. Previously, refloating attempts with own means and towing by two powerful ships had failed. The damage was amounting to 30,000 €. The cause of the accident was the non-compliance with an order from the water and shipping administration through the ship's master at the scene of the accident on the previous day, when the "Onderneming IV" (ENI-Nr.: 02,327,341) had been stuck at the same place. The authority carried by bearings in the day at the accident site, and then was to decide on possible restrictions on the shipping.

The "Chilandia" ran aground at the "Apothekergrund" in Dettenheim on the Rhine, km 378, on Feb 22, 2011, at 12.19 a.m. right after the "Onderneming IV" was refloated at the same position. The ship had been running downstream. The police launch No. 5 from Karlsruhe was on scene in the afternoon and monitored the situation.
