20 Filipino seafarers aboard the "Coral Ring" were brought to the Nodori Hotel in Narita Airport from Fukushima. The shipping company is making arrangements for their flights to Manila, while the Philippine Embassy provided travel documents for the 16 seafarers who lost their passports during the tsunami last March 11. The "Coral Ring" was at the Onahama Port in Fukushima when the earthquake and tsunami struck. The vessel hit the berth and suffered damage which immobilized it. The crew was rescued by the Japanese Coast Guard vessel "Azuma". They stayed at the Spa Hotel in Fukushima, which was arranged by the prefectural government, before being transported by bus to Narita.
