Freighter robbed off Indonesia
The "Da Yang Bai Li" was boarded by four robbers armed with long knives on May 12, 2019, at 6.10 p.m. in position 01 00 10 N, 104 54 48 E, four miles east of Pulau Mapur. The robbers took the duty able seaman as hostage and entered the master's cabin. They tied up the able seaman and the master, stole their personal cash, then fled the vessel and escaped.
