Fuel pump trouble off Blackhead Lighthouse
The 'Falcon Bay', en route from Kandalaska to Belfast, suffered fuel pump problems 7,1 miles northeast of Blackhead lighthouse in position 54 51 52 N, 005 33 54 W, on Dec 31, 2019, at 11.15 a.m. Despite repair attempts, the fuel pump problems could not be resolved, and consequently the ship wastaken to a nearby anchorage and moored in pos. 54° 43.25' N 005° 34.39' W off Donaghadee at 11.50 p.m. where it remained stationary as of Jan 1.
