Repairs of grounding damage completed
Permanent repairs of the 'T Moon' have been complete in shipyard. Subsequently, the vessel was shifted from the shipyard to the Yalova anchorage, where it carried out sea trial performance test with satisfactorily result on March 16. A new set of trading certificates was issued by the monitoring classification society and the flag state authority. The ship was next bound to Kavala with an ETA as of March 18, but remained anchored off Tuzla that day.
Repairs in final phase
The repairs of the 'T Moon' in Yalova were being expected to be completed by the end of January 2022. Sea trials along with tightness tests will then be carried out at the anchorage area under the supervision of a class surveyor and the owner's superintendent.
Ship shifted to Yalova for further repairs and maintenance
The 'T Moon' has been shifted from Tuzla to the Yalova shipyard area in order to complete remaining outstanding repairs. The fire pump and piping systems also required renewal and repairs. The ship remained stationary at Yalova as of Nov 17.
