Work accident off Ouistreham

A 47-year-old crew member of the 'Notre Dame de Foy' had his thumb trapped in a winch during a lifting operation on March 11, 2020, 10 miles off Ouistreham (Calvados) during a trawl recovery. He suffered a large wound on his finger. The victim was taken care of by firefighters, who came to pick him up at the quay in Ouistreham around 8:30 p.m. The ship then returned to its home port Honfleur

Medevac off Le Havre

On Oct 22, 2019 at 8:45 p.m. the CROSS Jobourg was notified by the 'Notre-Dame de Foy' that a crew member had injured a leg. The vessel was fishing 25 miles off Le Havre. After a telephone consultation, the medical center of maritime consultation in Toulouse and the SAMU decided his medical evacuation. Trawler grounded near Antifer

On Sep 9, 2016, at 6.55 a.m. the "Notre Dame de Foy - CN.463933", 50 gt, ran aground at the foot of the cliffs north of the port of Antifer with three crew members on board. These immediately reported the situation to the Cross Jobourg wihch dispatched two SNSM boats, the "Cap Fagnet" and the "Notre Dame du Salut" from Fécamp. The Coastguard was also alerted. No leak was found in the hull of the trawler. Around 2 p.m., the ship was refloated by the SNSM-boats and sailed towards its homeport Honfleur escorted by the patrol boat "Pavois" of the Coastguard stationed at LE Hevre.
