Tanker breached boxship
The boxship "Cosco Fukuyama" was in collision with the "Gao Cheng 2" in the afternoon of May 6, 2016, in the Xiashimen Channel off Ningbo-Zhoushan port. The tanker struck the boxship at portside, which suffered serious damage, and the hull was breached. The tanker suffered bow damage. The boxship will undertake repairs at Zhoushan Ship Repair Yard and was being moored on a anchorage north of Hengdao Island on May 10.
