Engine failure in Bosphorus
The 'Ballista' en route from Thessaloniki to Burgas, suffered a technical failure,at the southern entrance of the Bosphorus on July 9, 2021. The vessel returned to the Istanbul anchorageunder its own power and moored in pos. 40° 58.80' N 028° 55.53' E to carry out repairs by the crew. The ship remained stationary as of July 11.
Engine trouble in Canakkale Strait
The 'Ballista', while en route from Nemrut Bay to Burgas, suffered a tehcnical failure during the transit of the Canakkale Strait and moored at Karanlik anchorage on Sep 12, 2020, at 4 a.m. Subsequently, repair works were commenced by the crew.

The 'Ballista', while en route from Thessaloniki to Diliskelesi, suffered a technical failure in the southern entrance of Canakkale Strait on July 24, 2020. The vessel moved to the Bozcaada anchorage and moored for repairs by the crew.
