Main engine trouble off Flamborough Head

The 'Greenwich Eagle', en route from Norfolk, USA, to Immingham with 19 crew members on board, suffered an issue with the main engine 38 nautical miles southeast of Flamborough Head in position 53 49 31.2 N, 000 52 31.8 E on Feb 21, 2022, at 9 a.m. The crew completed repairs on the engine at 09.45 a.m., and the vessel, which was carrying 55.000 metric tonnes of coal as cargo, resumed its voyage. On Feb 22 at 4.10 a.m. it moored on Immingham anchorage.

Engine trouble in St. Lawrence Gulf

The 'Greenwich Eagle' suffered a main engine malfunction in position 48 09 45.4 N, 060 54 51.4 W in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, about 30 nautical miles northeast of Ile Brion, Quebec City, on Dec 8, 2021, at around 8 p.m. The crew carried out repairs, and the vessel resumed its voyage towards Becancour where it moord on Dec 10.
