Ship arrested in Singapore

On July 2, 2018, the Singapore Supreme Court arrested the 'GMS 02' in Singapore at 02.50 a,m.. The arresting solicitor was Oon & Bazul LLP. The vessel had docked at the Jurong Industrial Port at berth 6 on July 1 at 7 p.m., coming from Yokohama. The vessel was released after the bunker bill was paid by the Vietnamese shipowner VTD Exploitation & Ship Management.

K Line vessel refloated

The 10,292 dwt Marine Diamond (built 2005) was refloated on May 14 having run aground on Wednesday in Nagoya port. The ship was laden with a cargo of timber. Authorities waited overnight for a high tide, and with a tug, the Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha-controlled vessel was moved. There have been no reports of any damages or leaks. The Hong Kong-flagged ship is now underway, heading to Yokkaichi.

Grounding in Nagoya

In the afternoon of May 13, 2015, the "Marine Diamond" ran aground in Nagoya about 200 meters off quay 98 where she was docked. The vessel was to leave port after offloading a cargo of timber. It was to be refloated with the high tide and assistance of a tug in the morning May 14. The ship was next bound to Yokkaichi.
