Disabled trawler towed to Weymouth
The all weather lifeboat at Shoreham was launched on Oct 6, 2014, at 10.35 a.m. to the "Marina Emiel", which had suffered mechanical failure. The vessel , which had four people on board, was 1,5 miles south west of Shoreham Harbour in rough seas and squally rain. A tow line was set up by the lifeboat crew and the lifeboat brought her back to Shoreham Harbour at 11.15 a.m. where repairs were carried out until the next morning.
