Technical failure repaired off Antalya

The 'Raptor', en route from Mersin to Durres, suffered a technical failure and dropped anchor at Alanya on Feb 28, 2022, at 7.40 p.m. After the crew carried out repairs, the vessel hesumed its voyage to Durres on March 1 at 8.15 a.m. with an ETA as of March 6.

Technical failure in Canakkale Strait

The 'Raptor', en route from Marsa el Brega to Tuzla suffered a technical failure during its Canakkale Strait passage on Dec 20, 2019, at 11 p.m. The vessel was shifted to Karanlik liman anchorage where repair works were started by the crew. On Dec 22 the ship remained moored in pos. 40° 0.85' E 026° 16.16'.

Freighter out of control

The "Lady Bo" suffered engine failure on June 15, 2018, at 1.30 p.m. and got out of control, approaching the western coast of the Bosphorus Strait and triggering fears of running into the embankment and buildings. The ship was transiting the strait in northern direction, en route from Istanbul to Novorossiysk. The tug "Kurtarma 1" of Kıyı Emniyeti managed to take the ship in tow and pulled it to Buyukdere Anchorage where it was moored in pos. 41° 9.43' N 029° 3.09' E where it was remaining by June 18. She arrived at Gebze on June 22 and berthed at the Solventas Teknik Depolama A.S. in Tavsancil. Since June 30 the ship was moored off Constanta.
