Technical failure at Tuapse

The 'Lion A.' suffered a technical failure of its navigation systems together with safety alarms at Tuapse on Jan 25, 2023. The departure permission was canceled by Harbour Master until the completion of repairs by the crew together with a shore-based technical support. Upon completion of repairs, the state surveyors re-attended the vessel and verified the repair status. The vessel was granted departure permission and sailed from Tuapse on Jan 28. It arrived in Samsun on Jan 31 at around 6 a.m UTC.

Engine failure at Samsun

The 'Lion A.' suffered an engine failure at Samsun on Nov 17, 2022. Subsequently, the vessel departure permission was cancelled by the Harbour Master until the completion of repairs by the crew along with shore-based technical support. Upon completion of repairs and an inspection, the departure permission was granted, and the vessel sailed from the port on Nov 20 en route to Tuapse with an ETA as of Nov 21.
