Allision in Brunsbüttel
On Nov 27, 2016, the "Wybelsum" allided with the wall of the great Northern Lock if the Kiel Canal in Brunsbüttel. At 8.45 p.m. the ship, upon leaving the lock eastbound towards the canal, hit the wall at the 0-meter-mark with the port side stern, damaging a metal sheet of the gate niche. The ship suffered scratches and bruises on three meters length. It was enroute from Hamburg, where it had sailed at 4.45 p.m., to St. Petersburg and was allowed to continue the voyage one hour later with an ETA as of Nov 30, 4 a.m.
