Hope for soon release of longliner

Wed Aug 28 13:15:38 CEST 2019 Timsen

The council of Mar, Rosa Quintana, trusted that the Irish Justice will accept and resolve as soon as possible the appeal presented by the shipowner of the "Mestre Bobicha" after it has been seized. If the ship's arrest has taken place, as noted by its owner, for having had two buoys without identification, that should not be considered a serious offense. The Irish naval defense ship 'Lé Samuel Beckett' stopped the 'Mestre Bobicha' 200 miles south of Fastnet Rock for an alleged violation of fishing rules. The longliner was escorted to the port of Castletownbere.
