Tanker and ferry grounded after collision
On Dec 20, 2015, the anchors of the "Mangun Jaya" and "KMP Victorius 5" dragged on the anchorage off the Cilegon oil terminals in the Sunda Strait. At around 1.30 p.m. the vessels collided, and being stuck together and drifted, still with dropped anchors, onto the shore. A local tug failed to refloat vessels because of bad weather with wind Speed of 32 knots and waves of 2 to 3 meters, and a stronger tug was ordered. There were talks about evacuating the crews. Both ships were unloaded. Indonesian report with photo: http://www.indopos.co.id/2015/12/di-perairan-merak-dua-kapal-tangker-bertabrakan.html
