Disabled vessel towed to Tuzla

After repairs of the technical failure which the 'Nakhchivan' has suffered at Yalova on May 4, 2020, in Piraeus had failed, the AHTS 'Ocean Ergun' was tasked to tow the vessel to a yard in Tuzla. The towage operation commenced on Feb 27, 2021, upon completion of towage approval formalities. The convoy arrived at Tuzla on March 4. An initial damage survey has been carried out by Class surveyor along with the superintendent of the vessel's owner and shipyard technical teams. Repairs have commenced since.

Disabled freighter to be auctioned at Piraeus

The 'Nakhchivan' which had suffered a technical failure at Yalova on May 4, 2020, and was towed to Piraeus on June 24, has been arrested by the court and will be for sale at an auction due to unpaid credits. The auction will take place at Piraeus at a yet unknown date. The ship remained stationary at Perama for the time being.
