Tanker detained for anchoring without auhtization

The "Nautica Batu Pahat" was detained by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency approximately 2.8 miles southwest of Bandar Hilir in Malacca, Malaysia, on June 27, 2019. The vessel was detained for allegeded anchoring without authorization from local authorities.

Severe damage in collision

Coming from Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta, the cargo m/v "Tay Son 4" ran into the "Nautica Batu Pahat" at Singapore Eastern Anchorage on July 25, 2011. Whilst the hull of the tank vessel was torn up close to the engine room in the tank region, the "Tay Son 4" suffered damage to the foreship and bulbous bow. Both ships remain at anchor off the port.
