Bow thruster damage under repair in Algeciras

After its departure from Banjul on Nov 6, 2019, the 'Nordic Macau' suffered a damage to its bowthruster where a ring was broken. On Nov 10 at 2.40 p.m. the ship entered the port of Algeciras for repairs where repairs with the support of a crane barge commenced at the Abrigo Ingeniero jetty after ballasting the ship in a way that the thruster emerged above the water. It left the port for trials on Nov 14 at 6.50 a.m. and returned to Algeciras on Nov 15 at 1.40 a.m., berthing at the Total Terminal International Algeciras. WAX • Weekly direct line dedicated to Nigeria, Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire • New rotation starting in Central China: Shanghai – Ningbo – Chiwan – Nansha – Tanjung Pelepas – Port Kelang – Cape Town – Tin Can – Douala – Abidjan – Pointe Noire – Colombo – Port Kelang – Shanghai • Effective as from August 15th, 2014 in Shanghai with MV NORDIC MACAU
