The 'Nordic Wolverine', upon its arrival from Cartagena, ran aground at the port entrance of Barranquilla on July 19, 2020, at 7 a.m. Some tugs were called to assist the ship, but to no avail. On July 20 it was still stuck in pos. 11° 6.49' N 074° 51.29' W. The fairway was not affected so other ships could pass.

Tanker saved distressed fishermen

Mon Sep 08 20:43:15 CEST 2014 Timsen

On Sep 6, 2014, the "Nordic Wolverine" rescued seven distressed crew members of a fishing vessel in the Gulf of Mexico. All seven were reported to be in good shape. The "Nordic Wolverine" was en route from Houston to Panama when the ship received a distress alert from the "Emerald", a converted fishing vessel registered in Honduras. The product tanker sailed immediately towards the vessel and transferred an additional pump onto the "Emerald". It was, however, not possible to save the ship, but the seven crew members were rescued in time and were continuing to Panama aboard the tanker.
