Nossan at repair yard

On Nov 22 the "Nossan" arrived at the Trelle Yard at Kållandsö for repairs.

Nossan refloated and moved to Vänersborg

In the afternoon of Nov 16 the "Nossan" was refloated and taken to Vänersborg after having got the approval by the Maritime Administrations. The intention was to get the vessel to Grums on Nov 17. The "Nossan" will move under own power, but be escorted by the tug "Älvbjörn" on the way out to the lake Vänern as a safety precaution. Pumping has started

The sealing of the "Nossan" was assessed on Nov 15 at 5 p.m. after some welding was carried out under water in order to make the ship watertight. Then salvors began pumping out the water. On Nov 16 around midday the ship was Floating again. The Maritime Administration was awaiting the outcome of an inspection n order to finde out wheter she could be moved. A decision was expected during the afternoon. Six merchant ships were waiting in line to pass.
