Medevac off Kullen

On Dec 4, 2018, at 06.55 a.m. the Danish Sea Rescue medevaced a patient from the "Pearl Seaways" in the Baltic Sea off Kullen. The ferry had been enroute from Oslo to Copenhagen at that time.

Medevac in Oslo Fjord

On Nov 187, 2017, a Danish passenger had to be medevaced from the "Pearl Seaways" in the Oslo Fjord after he had suffered a broken leg. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Stavanger deployed a rescue helicopter to take the man off.

Man who was medevaced by helicopter died in hospital

A Norwegian passenger of the "Pearl Seaways", has died after he was medevaced from the ferry on Apr 2, 2017, and taken to the University Hospital. The man fell seriously ill right after the ferry had left Copenhagen bound to Oslo. He was picked up by a helicopter. The deceased was from the city of Hokksund in the Øvre Eiker municipality.
