Medevac in Skagerrak

On May 14, 2023, at 9.50 p.m. an SAR helicopter from Aalborg medevaced a patient from the 'Pearl Seways'. The ferry was transiting the Skagerrak en route from Oslo to Frederikshavn at that time. The patient was safely hoisted and taken ashore for medical treatment in a hospital.

Medevac in Baltic Sea

On May 12, 2022, the 'Pearl Seaways', en route from Copenhagen to Oslo, requested the medevac of a person in the Swedish SAR zone. The patient was evacuated from the ferry and taken to a Danish hospital for treatment on a higher medical level.

On Jan 10, 2022, at 02.29 a.m. the 'Pearl Seaways', enroute from Frederikshavn to Copenhagen, reported that a person on board needed to be medevaced. A helicopter of the Danish Defence was mobilzied and hoisted the patient. He was flown to the University Hospital in Aalborg for further care.
