Tanker entangled in fairway buoy
The "Gang Wang", 11965 dwt, allided with the fairway buoy A47 in the Yangtze river estuary in the main Shanghai port channel on July 18, 2018, at 3 a.m. and started to drift, endangering ship navigation. Two tugs assisted the tanker, but it took about five hours to clear the tanker’s propeller and move te ship away from the channel. The vessel was moored in pos. 31° 17.33' N 121° 44.78' E.
