Ship left Chittagong days after collision
The 'RHL Julia' has completed its cargo discharge on April 11. The vessel left Chittagong waters and headed to Singapore on April 12 without any temporary repair upon completion of all customs with an ETA as of April 17. The 'Aisha Sarwar' meanwhile has completed its temporary repair works and has sailed towards Mongla Port on April 9 with remaining 22.000 tonnes of cargo on board for the final discharge. She dropped anchor in pos. 22° 20.51' N 089° 38.03' E on April 13 at 5 a. m.
Lightening of cargo continued
The lightening of the 'RHL Juli' was continued at Chittagong outer anchorage on April 8 and was expected to be completed on April 11. Lightening of the cargo of the 'Aisha Sarwar' was continued too at Chittagong outer anchorage. The cargo allocation will be carried out after completion of temporary repair works. The vessel was expected to sail for Mongla around April 10, with a balance cargo on board for the final discharge at Mongla.
Allision at Chittagong
The 'RHL Julia' was allision with the bulk carrier 'Aisha Sarwar' (IMO: 9200433) at the outer anchorage of Chittagong on April 3, 2021. Both ships suffered damage. As of April 5 she was moored in pos. 22° 19.28' N 091° 43.02' E.
