Mon Jul 24 11:33:20 CEST 2017 Timsen

The "Ryfylke" had to start an unplanned yard stay due to vibrations of the propulsion gear. In the meantime, the "Stord" was inserted in the Tau connection also this week.

Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble

Wed May 31 10:47:20 CEST 2017 Timsen

On May 30, 2017, at 1.20 p.m. the "Ryfylke" encountered technical trouble in Stavanger and was sidelined for repairs. Norled replaced the ferry with a fast boat and the "Gloppen" on the route between Stavanger and Tau in the afternoon. The ferry returned to normal operation with the departure from Stavanger to Tau at 4.40 p.m. after the technical issues were resolved. Already last week, the gas ferry had to be taken out of operation after problems with the control system on one engine. Now it was the other engine which had a signal error so specialists checked the control system.
