Allision in Arkhangelsk
On May 29, 2016, the "Seahake" allided with the quay of berth 17 while mooring at the Oil Terminal in Arkhangelsk port. The ship hit with the aft starboard and damaged cargo piled up on the shore. Therre was no damage to the tanker. On May 30 a technical examination and repair of the affected loading arms was carried out.
Engine trouble in the Kiel Canal
On Oct 22, 2012, the "Seahake" while enroute Wilhelmshaven Vysotsk suffered problems with its cooling water system at 11.25 p.m. while sailing eastbound in the Kiel Canal. The engine failed short before reaching the Brunsbüttel road bridge so that the tug "Bugsier 17" had to be called which moored the ship at Kudensee for repairs. After repairs were completed, the ship resumed its voyage and entered the Kiel Holtenau locks on Oct 23 at 6.20 a.m.Upload News
