Oil pollution on Dortmund-Ems-Canal

On Apr 2, 2015, at 6:45 the fire rescue Lingen was called to the quay of the Agrivat Food Company. after an oil-water-mixture escaped from the "Silke" into the Dortmund-Ems-Canal. The master had remarked large amounts of water in the engine room and pumped it into the canal. The fire rescue was on scene with four engines and 17 men. A boat laid out an oil boom, and the fire rescue of the BP-refinery sucted off the oil with a vacuum truck until 1 p.m. German report with photos: https://www.facebook.com/BMdFTR/posts/807855249307446
