Cooling water system leak in Quebec

The 'Transwind', enroute from Las Palmas, was disabled due to a leak on the cooling water system of its main engine about 15 miles South-Southeast of Pointe Manicouagan, Quebec, on March 27, 2021. The crew carried out repairs, and the vessel resumed its voyage to Trois Rivières, where it arrived on March 28 and remained stationary as of April 1.

Medevac off Key West

The US Coast Guard medevaced a 37-year-old man with an injury to his arm from the "Sanna" approximately 20 miles south of Key West on March 27, 0218. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Key West Command Center received a satellite phone call at approximately noon from the crew of the vessel reporting the man needed further medical care for the wound sustained to his arm. A Coast Guard Air Station Miami MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew arrived on scene at 4:57 p.m., hoisted the injured crewmember and transported him to awaiting emergency medical services at Key West International Airport for further medical care.
