US crude exports totaled 3.98mn bpd last week, according to Wood Mackenzie vessel tracking, with offshore and onshore terminals around Corpus Christi dominating flows. Combined loadings from Corpus Chrsiti and Ingleside reached 1.27mn bpd, outpacing the 1.16mn bpd shipped from Galveston’s lightering areas and Houston facilities.
Galveston offshore loadings saw robust VLCC activity, with the Dias I and the C.Genuine lifting over 600,000 bpd, combined, for Asian destinations. Houston onshore terminals contributed more modest volumes, with cargoes headed to Northwest Europe, the Mediterranean, and South America.
There was one export shipment from the Louisiana Offshore Oil Platform (LOOP) last week, averaging 116,000 bpd . The cargo departed for Italy’s Falconara port.
By discharge region, Northwest Europe led with 1.28mn bpd, outpacing East Asia’s 706,000 bpd. Rotterdam remained the top European destination, while South Korean ports led in Asia.
