The 'Armand Imbau II' suffered a mechanical failure on June 17, 2020, which could be rectified. On June 18 the same malfunction occurred again, and the ferry was sidelined in Tadoussac and will not be in operation until further notice. Departures will therefore take place every 40 minutes from at the Tadoussac-Baie-Sainte-Catherine crossing.

Thu Sep 05 10:15:04 CEST 2019 Timsen

Only one ferry remained in service since Aug 30, 2019, at noon on the Tadoussac-Baie-Sainte-Catherine crossing following a breakdown of an electronic module aboard the "Armand-Imbeau II". The crossings take place all 40 minutes on each side of the Saguenay River. The Société des traversiers du Québec hoped to have the trounbe resolved on Sep 1 with repairs immediately started.
